Sometimes when we copy a file larger than 4 GB to our pan drive, memory card, or hard disk. It shows that "the file is too large for the destination file system" and our file is not copied.


Today I will tell you why this problem comes and how to solve this problem. Please follow these steps.



Step 1:

Open this PC.

Right-click on the drive that has the problem and clicks on Format.

Click below the File System.

Select NTFS.

Now click on Start.

Step 6:

Click on OK and wait a few seconds.

Again, click on, OK.

Step 8:

Click on Close.

Now your problem is solved. In this method, your data will be lost if you want to solve this problem without losing data then use EaseUs Partition Master. InEaseUs Partition Master, you can convert FAT32 to NTFS without data loss.

Reason:

We cannot transfer a file larger than 4GB in the FAT32 file system but in the NTFS (NT File System) file system, we can transfer a maximum file of 16TB.
