What is Coronavirus?

Coronavirus is a large family of viruses. These viruses are found in both humans and animals. The viruses of this family were first found in humans in the 1960s. These viruses infect the respiratory tract. Common cold and respiratory infections are found in humans due to these viruses.

What is COVID-19?

COVID-19 is a sort form of Coronavirus disease-2019. COVID-19 is the name of the virus and disease. This new virus and disease began in Wuhan, a city in the Hubei province of China in December 2019. This virus and disease were unknown before 12 December.

What are the symptoms of Corona?

A person suffering from the coronavirus has symptoms like fever, fatigue, and dry cough. Some patients also have coronavirus symptoms such as headache, nasal congestion, sore throat, mucus cough, shortness of breath, muscle or joint pain, chills, vomiting, and diarrhea. Symptoms such as cough in blood decreased white blood cells and kidney failure are seen in patients who are severely affected by this virus.

How does the corona spread?

When we sneeze small droplets come out of our nose and mouth which descend on the surrounding objects and people. If the person sneezing suffers a corona, then the droplets released during the sneezing will be viscous, which will also affect the person coming into contact with them. So keep at least a meter distance from the sick person to prevent the spread of corona.

How to protect yourself?

You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you do-

• Wash your hands regularly after some time with soap and water.
• Cover the mouth and nose with a handkerchief or a clean cloth while coughing or peeling.
• Avoid close contact with unwell people.
• Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell.
• Don't touch your eyes, nose, or mouth.
• Stay away from the large group because solitude is better than death.
• Don't shake hands with anyone and don't hug anyone.
• Avoid traveling.
• Do not go out of the house without wearing a mask.
• Keep at least a meter distance from the sick person.
